Beautiful home on quiet, peaceful Portage Lake. Only 1 mile out of Chassell and just 8 miles from downtown Houghton. This home is perfect for families visiting their children at Michigan Tech or friends on a get away to the beautiful Copper Country. Summers are great for boating and swimming in the lake. Fall colors are amazing especially along the bike trail just outside our door. Winters are great with skiing and snowmobiling. The dock is unavailable for renovations at this time. The space The home is spacious for families or friends with 3 bedrooms and several sleeping areas. There are plenty of great restaurants in the area as well as shopping for needed supplies to stay in and cook at home with the kitchen set up with all your cooking needs. The Copper Country is home to many outdoor activities including golf, biking, skiing, boating, snowmobiling and much more with the always friendly, Yooper hospitality. All this just outside your door or within a short drive. Then come back to the house to experience a nice relaxing sauna and swim in the lake. Guest access Washer and dryer are available for use.
