Our historic, double-story cabin is fully restored but retains its rustic character. Downstairs you’ll find a cozy living room and kitchenette. Upstairs, a queen bed and a bathroom with shower await. Look out on our rolling pastures from the comfort of the covered deck and immerse yourself in the idyllic setting of our 558 acre conservation reserve and regenerative farm. You can enjoy fantastic hiking, explore wineries, charming rural towns and much more close by! The space The historic structure of this cabin means it has low ceilings--so please keep this in consideration if you are over 5'11" tall! The kitchen includes a refrigerator and freezer, coffeemaker, range, toaster oven, dishes and cutlery. Note that the bathroom has a shower and no bathtub. The cabin is ideally suited for 2 adults, but may accommodate an additional infant or small child (you will need to bring your own crib/playpen). Please also note our refundable damages deposit of $500 which is required for all parties including pets or small children. Guest access Our grill, smoker, outdoor pool and attached hot tub are shared and available for guests to use, season dependent. Guests should provide wood for smoking. Note that the pool is and hot tub are closed late September - May. Please be considerate of other guests and residents, and also of the fact that we use propane (expensive) for heating. Adjacent to the pool deck is a fire-pit with seating which you are also welcome to enjoy. We have cleared hiking trails that meander through the woods on our property if you are looking to go for a quiet stroll. No smoking or controlled substances are allowed. Other things to note We have 4 medium-large sized, friendly but curious dogs on the farm. Your well-mannered pets are welcome but please note our standard pet fee of minimum $50 per stay per pet over 2 pets. Final pet fees may vary depending on size & number of animals. If you will be traveling with your pet(s), please let us know specific details in your initial inquiry. Horses & other livestock can be accommodated from time to time upon special arrangement with host at an additional fee. We love our farm! Please respect our rules of no smoking anywhere (inside or outside), no loud noise or pool/hot tub use between 9:30 pm - 7am. We are a working farm so please respect that we go to bed early & start work early! We welcome and encourage our guests to explore the farm.
