We welcome those who are looking for a unique place to stay. We are close to Taneytown (Antrim 1844), Gettysburg, Frederick, Ski Liberty, Catoctin Mountain, Carroll County Wine Trail, Flood Zone. We do live upstairs, you are renting a walkin basement, and have use of outdoor spaces. The space You are renting a walk-in 1,300 square foot rustic style basement of our home. The space has a private entrance and private parking area. It is all one room that adjoins a living/bedroom space and game room relaxation area. There is a kitchenette: sink, microwave, full size refrigerator and counter convection oven. No stove. A grill with side burner and pans available for cooking. There is a coffee bar with Keurig. Also a regular coffee maker. You have access to a private fire pit area and outside picnic area. We no longer offer breakfast as you may have read in the reviews. Please make sure you book for the correct number of guests. Guests over 4, we charge an extra fee of $15 per person, per night. Amenities including; toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, coffee, popcorn, water, toiletries, keurig coffee, tea, hot chocolate, plates, trash bags, etc. Guest access Where we understand that guests come to relax and unwind with family and friends, this is our home and we live upstairs. No parties are allowed as established by airbnb without consulting with the hosts and paying an event fee of $500 for 4 hours maximum. Parties include guests staying as part of the booking and outside guests visiting and then leaving. Other things to note Our guests love the privacy, view, and quiet surroundings. Any additional guests must be approved by us. Any type of event where there are people visiting that aren't staying the night is considered an event. Please contact us for more details. We can accommodate small to midsize gatherings up to 50 people on the property at an additional cost. We ask that all guests park down below behind the house. There is plenty of room for up to 6 vehicles. You may walk around the property but please do not go down the road past the wooded area. Also, the fence at the bottom of the yard is electric. Please do not touch the fence or go inside the fenced in area. The fence will shock you and there are bulls that do not like strangers in their area.
