The space This 400 sq. ft. treehouse includes a walnut spiral staircase, salvaged barn beams, a marble tile shower, and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with a two-person bar, gas stove + oven, hammered copper sink, refrigerator, microwave, kettle + french press, and basic utensils. The loft bedroom includes a queen bed with elegant bedding, skylight views, and a hanging chair for reading. The bathroom includes a marble tile shower with hot water, a hammered copper sink, and fresh gray towels. Enjoy lovely views from the porch with the sight of the river. Unwind with a hot bath in a two-person copper tub on the deck. Be aware the hot tub does NOT have jets. It's simply a tub for two with very hot water. ATTENTION: The treehouse is located on our 5-acre property. It is NOT deep in secluded woodland. It is 70 ft. from a dead-end road and 200 ft. away from our home. It is 16 ft. off the ground so height is in your favor for seclusion. There are appropriate window treatments on all windows. Please view ALL the photos on the listing so you know what to expect. We reserve our riverfront pavilion and firepit area close by for our guests. The remainder of our property will be shared with your host. This treehouse was relocated due to waterway regulations. It is now farther from the river but on the same property. You will still have river views and river access. Be aware the treehouse is in the trees so bugs will be present especially in the evening. We have complimentary natural bug spray and candles. It's best to leave the lights off on the porch at night so bugs won't join your porch party. You may be visited by our dogs. Our two Jack Russell's, Daisy and Cooter, love to say hello to anyone who comes on the property. The gate at the top of the stairs is to keep our furry friends away. We prefer if you keep them off the deck so they won’t beg to be let in. Yes, the calendar is ACCURATE. We book quickly. You can rest assured we don’t have dates blocked that we can open up for you;) We book out six months in advance. NEW two-night minimum! Also please be aware of our two guests' ONLY policy. Guest access The treehouse is around 100 yds. away from the river and includes the use of two kayaks, a canoe, a campfire, and swimming. Other things to note This exclusive getaway is only 8 miles from Harrisonburg, 4 miles from 81, and .5 mile from the Main Street of Bridgewater. Explore local wineries, hiking, restaurants and parks.
