Seaside Village Home is a newer, home in La Conner, Wash, My home is an easy 3 block walk to downtown which includes many art artisan galleries, restaurants and gift shops. In keeping with current Wash. State regulations require a face mask and strongly suggest social distancing. I am happy to report that New Shops/restaurants have recently opened I recommend.."The Salted Grape Bistro" on North First street. Phase II allows indoor dining is again we have out door live music by "BUSKERS" The space A Newer small home in bucolic La Conner, Washington. Private bedroom with private bath. Home includes Wi-Fi and HD-TV, Hair Dryer and of course free parking. It lies within a 2 block walk to the picturesque La Conner waterside village. The village is complete with several excellent restaurants, a pizzeria-brewpub, antique shops and art galleries. A pleasure boat marina is close by as are the famous Skagit Valley Tulip fields. Upcoming town and regional events include Arts Alive, Poetry festival, LaConner Classic Car and boat show, Bicycle event and race, multitudes of wine tastings and the nearby Mt. Vernon and Anancortes Farmer's markets (In season) LaConner Smelt festival and last but not least LaConner is one of the stops for the very popular "Oyster Run" motorcycle event held in October. ****Nu Yawkas's, Old car buffs, Airline folks especially welcome**** Available activities include kayaking, biking, nearby park with camping/BBQ. Within 2 blocks of the home are 2 churches(Catholic & Methodist) several great restaurants, an outstanding Wood Art shop, bookstore . . . the list goes on and on. A short trip across famed Rainbow Bridge is Fidalgo Island and the Swinomish First Nations territory and their local fishery.and the Swinomish Casino. The surrounding area abounds in agricultural farms, the world-famous Tulip fields (Spring) and farm stands. Bike and hiking trails are plentiful. Other things to note There is a cat, (Vinnie Bom-Bats) who is friendly but tends to stay to himself. ****Contrary to How AIRBNB describes accessing my home...there is NO LOCKBOX. I would ask would be guests to give me an approximate time of arrival and I will ensure to be home. If for some reason I cannot be available whan a guest arrives I always initiate contact with the guest and advise that I will leave an Entrance Key for them to enter.
