Timbuktu is located at the end of a private cul-de-sac and within a short 10-minute walk to Big Powderhorn Lodge and ski lifts. Uniquely, Timbuktu is also a small farm and is powered by an on-site solar system which is supplemented by other renewables. Timbuktu is a duplex with the owners living next door. Who are happy to assist with questions and advice. Pets welcome at $20/pet/night. The space You won't find any wood paneling or shag carpet here! Timbuktu is a newly renovated chalet with a modern Scandinavian feel. The ground floor features the master bedroom with a queen bed, the spare bedroom has to twin beds, a full bathroom with a river rock shower floor. A small storage closet with extra bedding and blankets is also on this level. Upstairs is an open-concept kitchen and living room with a wood stove (firewood is provided). This space also has a full bathroom with double vanity and corner rain shower. Above this floor is a sleeping loft with a full-size bed accessed by a ladder. At Timbuktu there is no TV, but we do provide fast internet access, Amazon Alexa, and a projector with Amazon Fire, Amazon Prime, Netflix's and Hulu Live which has access to sports and the NFL games. The two bathrooms have in-floor heating to keep your feet warm after showering. New basement level with sauna, shower and washer dryer, and extra sleeping space (queen bed)! Guest access Guests have full access to the rental Chalet and outside area including the hot tub (4 person). No access to the owner's units or garage. Other things to note Timbuktu Chalet is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and has plenty of parking and turning space for large trailers. We are a great location for all you snowmobilers and ATVers! You may park by the big rocks or pull right up to the front door.
