This is a beloved country family home with art on the walls, books on the shelves and toys and games for children. The vibe is bohemian and art-friendly - not minimalist! Enjoy our huge yard, private pond and two fireplaces year-round. It's great for couples and families (with kids and /or well behaved dogs) There's a beautiful forest behind the house - hundreds of acres to explore. Handy to three popular ski resorts, Berkshires fun, Hudson culture, racetrack, vintage movie theater and more! The space Our 60s modern home is full of quirks but very comfortable. Open plan living room, well-appointed kitchen and dining area with plenty of space to play and lounge in front of our fireplaces. Wifi and landline are provided. The living room opens onto a large backyard, beautiful woods and the path to the pond. Two full bathrooms too. Guest access Everywhere but the basement! : ) Other things to note We have quite a few children's toys and some play furniture, high chair etc. The back of the house, patio, pond and yard is very private, while the front faces the road. You can hear cars and trucks as they pass. We do not have central air, our stone house stays very cool in summer (often enough to build a fire). In winter, central heating keeps you toasty warm.
