Our peaceful environmentally friendly home w/ large backyard, front porch, and gardens is close to downtown Richmond, Pocahontas State Park, shopping, breweries, and historic sites. This is a comfortable space consisting of a cozy bedroom with one vintage double bed. We have easy, safe driveway parking. We have friendly Aussie Doodle named Remington. We are dog friendly; all dogs must be other dog friendly and fully vaccinated. We do not allow cats. The space Our home is a peaceful retreat complete with pleasant outdoor space and great local amenities. The room is completely furnished with storage space including a large chest of drawers and a good size closet (hangers provided). We are happy to make room in our fridge and freezer for any food you may have. We do request that you DO NOT eat or drink in the bedroom. There is also a small cupboard space for non-perishables. Guest have access to a shared kitchen space. We have a stock of breakfast items and we brew fresh coffee every morning. Feel free to enjoy your coffee on our front porch or back deck. There is access to Netflix with guest account. There is a bathroom with shower and bathtub and plenty of extra towels and linens. Guest access Guests access this space through the home’s front entrance leading directly to the guest space. You are able to use the front porch and backyard as well as community amenities like running path, playground, tennis courts, pickleball court, and swimming pool. You will also have access to full use of the kitchen, laundry area, and ironing board and iron. During your stay We aim to be prompt with communication and will be available to answer any questions you may have. We enjoy meeting our guests at check-in. We will be as available and social as our guests desire. Other things to note Absolutely no food is allowed in the guest room. All food must be stored in the kitchen or in a separate cooler/container in the garage. There is a dining area for your use. We have a spunky puppy Aussie Doodle who will enjoy any time you would give him. Dogs are welcome to stay for an extra $40, paid in cash at the beginning of the stay. We have a fenced a back yard where your dog is welcome to play. We do expected to clean up after your dog. We aim to be environmentally conscious by recycling, composting, and limiting waste..
