The "PEA POD in the Emerald Forest" is located in the woods at The Zen Farmhouse, a historic 1878 farm in the CATSKILLS MOUNTAINS. The area has many charming historic villages within a 30 - 45 minute radius. Hurleyville is the closest, and has been revitalized with many wonderful amenities - the Tango Restaurants - La Salumina - Gallery 222 - Fiber Arts - The Yoga Space - the Hurleyville Performing Arts Center and 8+ mile trail on a wide paved trail along a beautiful marsh. The space The "PEA POD" is a vintage off-the-grid "glamping" trailer nettled in a fern forest. It has 2 comfortable single beds, a well-stocked mini kitchen - with a stove top, ice box; a tiny bathroom with shower, cold well water & out side a fire pit, table. Lots of varieties of birds and the deer will definitely check you out! You will need to bring your own sleeping bags (bedding), plus anything else you need for an enjoyable camping experience. This is a turn-off your phone, GETTING BACK to Nature camping experience. Lanterns and candles provided - no electricity Guest access You will have access to the fields and woods.
