The cottage is footsteps away from a 20' x 40' heated, salt water pool and private blue stone patio and fire pit with a circle of comfy Adirondack chairs for relaxing around the fire. Lot's of Adirondack chairs around the pool too. The pool is adjacent to the main house. Guests have exclusive access to the pool and pool area except for the brief dips in the pool my husband and I take a few times a day when the guests are off the property. The pool is adjacent to the main house. Guests are invited and encouraged to enjoy and spend all the time they like in the pool and pool area, and enjoy the many sitting areas, lounge chairs, outdoor dining table and chairs, and pool toys. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the private stone patio with fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and the gardens and woods surrounding the cottage. Guests also have access to the 20' x 40" pool most of the day, and lounge chairs, an outdoor dining table and chairs, and pool toys poolside. My husband and I live on the property in the main house, which is adjacent to the pool, and swim laps for 15 minutes or so a few times a day, and then leave the pool to our guests. Other things to note I would be happy to help you plan and coordinate your magical weekend, week or longer stay. I love living in Woodstock, and will share with you all the local places that I know and love to make your stay extra special. After you book your reservation, you will receive a curated list of all my favorite places to eat, visit, hike, play pickleball, kayak, get a massage, and find the best takeout. Guests agree to read, understand and adhere to the Liability Waiver in the House Rules section. Considering we are an outdoor-oriented place, we do have a liability waiver form we will ask you to sign upon check in. No dogs allowed. No shoes inside. No smoking. No candles. Instead, we provide flameless, battery-operated candles for you to use. Please note that swimming is at your own risk. We do not have a lifeguard on duty. The pool is open from sunrise to sunset, from May 15 - October 1.
