Enjoy all the Connecticut River Valley has to offer and use this newly renovated cottage as your relaxing home base. The cottage is a 2 min. drive (or 12 min. walk) to charming downtown Chester. There you will find delicious dining options, unique shops, galleries, a brewery and a theater. Chester is also home to a wonderful Sunday farmers market -mid June to mid October. Area attractions include Gillette Castle, Essex Steam Train, Florence Griswold Museum, CT River Museum and wonderful hiking. The space This lovely two story cottage has a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen on the first floor. The second level has skylights, an open beamed ceiling and large picture windows. It contains a living area, dining area, dedicated workspace, and a full size daybed - which is a great spot to relax for an afternoon read or can accommodate an extra guest or two. The cottage has distant views of the Connecticut River, private outdoor space with 2 Adirondack chairs, a side table and a gas BBQ grill. Other than service dogs only non shedding dogs under 25lbs are automatically accepted. Guest access Guests have use of the front and side yards on the cottage side of the property. Parking for one car is provided and clearly marked. Guests will share the common driveway with their hosts who live in the house next to the cottage.
