Historic cottage nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, minutes from multiple breweries, wineries, hiking and biking trails, and the Shenandoah river. At just 40 miles west of Washington DC it’s the perfect weekend getaway to the country! We are known for our miles and miles of beautiful country roads. Come spend a weekend (or more!) and get lost in Loudoun. The space This cottage is over 170 years old and is located in the heart of the historic village of Bluemont, with all original exposed beams, stone walls, hardwood floors and old claw foot tub. It is a two level house with a (queen) bedroom and sitting area upstairs and the kitchen, living room and bathroom downstairs. We are walking distance to the Bluemont General Store and the farmers market every Sunday morning at the E.E. Lake General store Guest access Guests have the entire home to themselves along with the outdoor porches and yard. You may see our dog Jackson roaming around. He is very friendly and curious! Other things to note We have a strict NO PET policy which includes all services animals. An additional fee will be charged if this policy is not adhered to.
