A unique and tranquil getaway on the Bolinas mesa overlooking the Pacific ocean. Our 1940's small hand-built cabin is located one house in from the end of a dirt road, and the builder's family still calls it home. A rustic and cozy place with everything you need, a launchpad for family to connect with nature. Lots of joy brought by watching the wildlife such as deer, raccoons, quail and various birds that enjoy the yard right outside the window and follow the rhythm of the rising sun and moon. The space At Surfer's Perch, a free standing small cabin on a large open lot, you'll be towards the end of a dirt road in a quiet neighborhood. A two minute stroll towards the ocean leads you to a bench at the edge of the cliff (or as it feels like: the end of the world!) overlooking the Pacific ocean and the city of San Francisco on the horizon. Our cabin is a hand-built home from the late 1940s. A cozy wood cabin with a fireplace in the living room, the main room has an L- shaped couch that may sleep two. (Note this couch is more narrow and less plush than a twin bed, so only really suitable for children.) The cabin will possibly accommodate a group of 4 adults and 2 children. If it's only adults looking to stay, the home will accommodate 4 comfortably in 2 separate bedrooms, one king size bed and two twin beds accordingly. The kitchen is stocked with soaps, salt, pepper, cooking oil, coffee, tea and spices. A full bathroom with shower, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Surfer's Perch is a cozy, simple rustic cabin that offers nothing fancy but what you need and a opportunity to relax and check in with nature. Perfect for disconnecting from the hubbub of the online life, at a fantastic location, and to get to experience living in a home that has been loved and brought joy to a couple of generations of family and friends. Parking is available at our driveway, fits 2 cars. Guest access Entire cabin, the yard and driveway. There is also an outdoor shower. Other things to note We have one security camera only for the outside area, points to the driveway, no other cameras.
