The apartment is located on the second floor of a historic bank building in the heart of downtown New Glarus and just 30 minutes from Madison. The building has recently been added to the state and national registry of historic buildings. The bedroom has a queen bed. All new appliances and all of the comforts of home, including high-speed internet, Bluetooth speaker, and Smart TV. We're happy to welcome The Alpine, a retail space, on the first floor of the building. The Alpine is open Thursday-Sunday and hours are between 11 AM-7 PM. Be sure to pop in and enjoy a beverage and some retail therapy. We hope you enjoy our little hideout as much as we do. Guest access We have reserved a parking spot for you located just steps from the building entrance. You will be located in the heart of New Glarus with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Enjoy a walk to the park or on the Sugar River Nature Trail. Please be aware that the reserved parking space will not be available during festivals due to street closure. However, there is plenty of on-street parking available within one block of the building. Other things to note There is no smoking, grilling, pit fires, tiki torches, burning of candles/incense or fireworks allowed on the deck or in the unit. During festivals, the roadway may be blocked, leaving little or no access to your reserved parking spot. There is plenty of on-street parking near the building and we will communicate any road closures before your arrival. Leave the key on the counter when you check-out. In the event you lose the key, the fee to re-key is $100.
