Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oceanfront home in Bristol, RI. Sip your morning coffee, do a puzzle or just relax in the reclining chairs on the 4 season porch. Or venture outside to play cornhole, kayak, grill or just read/relax in the Adirondack chairs. Calm mornings offer mirrored seas where you can hear sea birds and watch boats passing by. Open concept between the living room and kitchen with large island to enjoy time with friends and family and comfortable sleeping for six (6). The space Bristol House also offers an open concept design for the living room and kitchen space with a large kitchen island, wood burning fireplace, wifi, TV with Roku and access to YouTube TV, Netflix, Prime video or other streaming apps that you may have subscriptions to. On the main floor, you will find 2 bedrooms with comfortable linens and convenient closet space to unpack and make yourself at home. The Main bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has 2 twin beds with water views. Downstairs has access to more sleeping space with a pull out queen bed. The 2 full bathrooms (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) provide ample space for families or friends and include towels for use. Kitchen is well appointed with use of the electric stove, microwave, fridge and dishwasher (so cleanup is easy) along with access to an air fryer, coffee makers (brew or one cup), plenty of dishware, utensils and glasses. Maybe enjoy lobster rolls, a fried fish dinner, or a RI stuffie from local restaurants or purchase groceries conveniently up the road at Stop and Shop. Other things to note Bristol house is available all year round. Enjoy visits during our town celebrations each season. Of course Fourth of July is a pinnacle in Bristol and is exciting to experience! Did you know that Bristol, RI has one of the oldest Fourth of July celebrations in the USA? The celebration for the 4th offers concerts, events, a parade and of course fireworks. You can also watch fireworks from other towns across the bay right from Bristol Houses’ porch or yard. You will also find many different types of festivals (Harvest, Quahog, etc.) throughout the year and can find local Farmer Markets in Bristol and local nearby towns that offer all kinds of local fruits, vegetables, sweet treats, small gifts or souvenirs to remind you of your visit. Whether you want to venture out and explore the local scenery or just have a quiet relaxing getaway overlooking the ocean, Bristol House offers both. Guests can fish directly out back or walk up the street for their catch of the day. There are kayak maps that take you up the Kickemuit River and around Mount Hope Bay. You can take your own boat right up the street to the public boat ramp or call for mooring availability and capacity. Colt State Park, Roger Williams University, Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum, and Herreshoff Marine Museum are some of the local must visit locations, but Bristol House also offers easy access to the Newport Mansions and/or Green Animals Topiary Garden, Newport Car Museum, The International Tennis Hall of Fame, Beavertail State Park, Roger Williams Zoo, local golf courses, beautiful beaches, the ferry to Prudence Island, and much much more.
