The Grey Shingles Camps property has been a cottage colony since the 1940's. Extensive renovations have been completed, and our guests are enjoying this historic property with a modern sensibility! We have five acres of open lawn, woodland, an orchard, and private waterfront with a sandy beach on pristine Rust Pond. Amenities include kayaks, SUP's, sunfish, and a canoe; pickleball, basketball, volleyball, and more. The Rec Hall has a full kitchen, living room w/cable TV, ping pong, & foosball. The space Copple Crown Camp is one of five camps, and overlooks the Great Lawn and a lovely view of the Apple Orchard. It sleeps 2 in 225 SF of living space. It has a hickory queen bed and side tables, a full bathroom, a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, Keurig, toaster, and skillet. A hand hewn pine peninsula with barstool provides seating for meals, plus garden seating and a Weber grill. Copple Crown is a small mountain to the south of Rust Pond that feeds the lake with snowmelt in the spring. Copple Crown Camp has an alpine theme, celebrating New Hampshire's woodland and winter sport! Guest access The Grey Shingles Camps property consists of five acres with many amenities for our guests. These include the facilities of our Rec Hall, field and court games, and our waterfront beach and docks with kayaks, SUP's, a canoe, and sunfish. Other things to note The Rec Hall at Grey Shingles Camps provides a lovely gathering place for the guests in our five camps. It has a full kitchen, living room with cable TV, ping pong, and other games, books, and puzzles. A screen porch and sun deck overlooking the lawn and orchard are nice for meals, reading, and relaxing!
