The space This is a working farm where we breed, raise and train horses and ponies along with providing boarding, lessons, training and coaching for horse enthusiasts. It is on a country quiet road but near major arteries. You will occupy a private ground floor apartment that is attached, but not connected, to our historic stone home. It consists of a living room/kitchen, nice-sized dining area with a great view; a full-size bedroom with ample storage and a large en-suite bathroom that features a double sink vanity, auxiliary heat, and a very spacious shower that can seat two. The bedroom also contains a dedicated workspace and sufficient WiFi to work remotely. The entry and accommodations are also handicapped accessible and suitable for service animals. Although, regrettably, are not suitable for bringing your pets. Guest access This private ground floor apartment is attached, but not connected, to our historic stone home and has its on separate entrance away from the main entrance. Positioned to give you a private enclave that is also convenient to the parking; secluded from the outside world. It overlooks and accesses a separate small lawn with seating, a flower garden and proximity to the horse fields. The apartment is surrounded by a spacious covered porch with seating and dining table exclusively at your disposal where you can watch the farm activities (and, if you like, meet family and workers who occasionally walk by on the porch to go about their work). Other things to note Reminder—This is a working farm in a country setting. It is generally a quiet, relaxing, very pleasant atmosphere. Though, when outdoors, you may at times briefly experience the notable sounds, smells and activities that are unique to farm machinery, large animals and wildlife. In addition to free range chickens wandering up on the porch and several barn cats, we have 3 very small dogs ( Italian greyhounds) that may bark at squirrels, hovering hawks, other dogs, etc. and maybe you when you first arrive. They are fenced in a separate area of the lawn, but they are also very friendly once they meet you and you can meet them if you like. (Though unfortunately, our place is not suitable for bringing your own pets)
