Freshly renovated in 2022, this charming 1940's cottage is nestled in the heart of Fennville MI. Located near Saugatuck, South Haven & Holland - close to beaches, dunes, vineyards, wineries, orchards & art galleries. Kitchen w/everything for cooking, laundry, full bath, queen bed, full sz bed, desk, Wi-Fi, deck, gas fire pit (May-Oct), short walk for groceries & restaurants. Dog friendly. (Remember, dogs must be included as pet guests when you book) The space This home is petite. The bedrooms are small but comfortable, clean & practical. There's plenty closet storage, hanging space & shelving. There's also room for a "Pack N Play" or dog crate in either bedroom (bring your own if needed). The kitchen has full size appliances and ample counter space for cooking & dining at the peninsula. There's a couch & loveseat in the living room. Bedroom #1 contains a queen bed and a closet with hanging space & shelving. Bedroom #2 contains a workspace, walk-in closet, and a full size bunk bed (NOTE: beginning December 2024 bunks will be replaced with a QUEEN size bed). The bathroom has a full size bath tub & shower, plenty of towels & washcloths, towel hooks, and several empty shelves for your personal items. The mudroom has a full size washer & dryer and room for a dog crate if needed. Because we ABSOLUTELY LOVE Lake Michigan, the space has fun coastal decor & cabinet knobs & coat hooks handmade from Great Lakes stones. The deck and yard have lots of room. PLEASE NOTE: During the summer & fall of 2024 the large play structure across the street is undergoing a complete renovation. It will be closed for play starting in July ‘24 and hopefully open again by the end of the year. The baseball and soccer fields are open and ready for play -- these were completely upgraded in 2023. The city of Fennville even added a small pond, fountain and pleasant walking trail around the park. Guest access You’ll have the entire house, deck, driveway and yard to yourself. Other things to note We are a dog friendly stay. If you are bringing a dog, please be sure they are included as a "pet" guest on Airbnb before finalizing your reservation. You can do this by scrolling down after you enter the number of adults, children and infants; there is a place to enter the number of pets. Please bring a crate and leash as well. (No cats or other animals allowed) Dogs MUST BE IN A CRATE ANY TIME THEY ARE LEFT ALONE IN THE HOME. There is a "pet fee" of $100 per stay which is built into the nightly fee--Airbnb doesn't show this as a separate charge it's just divided into the number of nights you stay. The bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom will be replaced in December 2024 with a queen bed. We will do everything we can to help you have a lovely getaway. We put our hearts & souls into renovating this adorable little cottage during fall 2021/winter spring 2022 and really hope you will enjoy it as much as we have.
