Children love the loft but an adult can not stand up. Please note we have lots of stairs and only one bathroom on the living and kitchen level. Night lights on the stairs for nighttime visits. They will love the loft and toys, and you might appreciate the Pack and Play, baby gates, high chair, DVD's, books, and even a s'mores maker for kids of all ages. Other things to note We do have special rates for holidays including 3 day weekends. Over holidays we have a 3 or 4 night minimum stay. We are an hour from the nearest market and the closest restaurant is 25 minutes away. Most guests bring all their own food for their stay. Take advantage of several walkable fieldtrips. Visit a farm with chickens, goats, sheep and have eggs, goat cheese, yarn in their loom room and warm smiles. Another interesting neighbor imports and roasts organic coffee. Some folks tell us they return just to buy more coffee or fresh goat cheese! Like to hike? Miles of trails available with amazing views. If you'd like to fish Doane Pond, you'll need a license. They are available at Lake Henshaw where you can also go out in a boat.
