The layout is open with very few walls. The first bedroom is on the ground floor and is separated from the living room by a large dresser made of Granadillo wood. The second bedroom is upstairs in the loft with an open view to the kitchen and living room downstairs. Both floors have a verandah that face the New River. The cabin has a kitchen, breakfast bar, living room, loft, large porch. 1 queen bed, 1 double bed. The New River that runs alongside the property was called Tzul Wuinik Cob by the Mayas which translates to "river of strange faces". Guest access Feel free to roam the property! There are several palapas along the river where you can sit and read a book or enjoy your morning coffee or a beer. Whatever floats your boat! The restaurant on the property, Maracas Bar and Grill, is open for lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday. Ask the bartender for the canoe and take a paddle up the river! Other things to note LAMANAI ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE We offer tours to Lamanai daily. Tours depart from the dock in front of your cabin at 9 am and return between 3 and 4 pm. The rate is US $60 per person and includes entrance fee to the park, tour of the museum, a Belizean lunch, and a tour of the ball court and the temples, including the High Temple overlooking the lagoon. ONSITE RESTAURANT Maracas Bar and Grill is located on site. Open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. CHECKING OUT Please leave the key in the drop box when you check out. .
