Come over and experience an authentic Filipino accommodation & hospitality at one of the best islands in the world. The space Our beach front property is our private vacation paradise in the tropics. Our native villa is perfect for a family of 5. It is constructed with real hardwood and is furnished with natural, custom made materials with an open floor plan, decorated with a unique, handmade things to make it a special, relaxing place for our guests. It is situated on a hillside overlooks the ocean with beautiful sunsets and large enough to accommodate a small family or a small group while still plenty of room for everyone. It has two bedrooms available. A queen four poster bed in the first bedroom, a twin bunk bed and a double bed in the other bedroom, complete with comfortable mattress and soft linens. Two bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers using solar heater. The living room and the dining room are both located in the front of the house where the view of the ocean and sunsets are best seen. The whole front has sliding door panels which can be kept open (unless it’s raining hard) for a good breeze especially at night. Our kitchen has a fridge, which our guests can use to store their drinks and snacks if they have. It is constructed to modern standards with a tropical and rustic design. Our property is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and tall trees, where birds and other wildlife live. Enjoy our private white powdery beach just a few steps down along with a small open cabana, a swing bed and a picnic table. No other tourists but you. You will see Mount Capuas from the living room, the Master bedroom, the large deck in front and the smaller deck in the back. Hiking, snorkeling, camp fire grilling at the beach are some of the fun activities you can do here. Swim at the beach to your hearts content where sparkling, clean water is so inviting, it is hard to resist. Our place is so exotic yet so peaceful, a nature lovers favorite, a home away from home. Guest access We only accept ONE BOOKING AT A TIME, so you can fully enjoy your vacation without other tourists/ guests around during your stay. If you wonder why there is only a few reviews in this listing, it is because we have another little cottage we rent out to couples which is mostly booked during the entire year we are open. We are truly “The Lost Traveler” and will be hard to find our place if you choose to rent a car to drive to our place. We have very few specific trusted drivers who know our location, and the last 1&1/2 hours travel is over undeveloped, unmarked roads without easily identifiable landmarks which at times due to weather conditions become nearly impassable. If we have to send out our caretaker to rescue you on your self drive, there will be an extra charge which includes last minute hiring of extra help while our caretaker is away and motorcycle maintenance (1500 pesos service fee). Our property is located on 2+ hectares with a 60 meter beach line. No other residents in the entire cove. You can access both nearby fishing villages by walking or by riding a boat. If you like to hike, go further up the hill and enjoy the mountain and ocean views. The villages beyond are accessible by motorcycle and along the way have some breathtaking ocean view. On the way here after you get off the National Highway is a dirt road and can get muddy especially during the rainy season from October- January, but the scenery is surreal. The driver we hire is experienced and safe. • Commercial/ Professional shooting (photo, video, film) is not allowed in the property without our consent. If you plan to do the above, please get a hold of us to discuss our special rates and what specific photo shoot we do not allow. Thank you! • Due to the nature of the area and the design of our cottages, we enforce a STRICT NO SMOKING POLICY at anytime, anywhere during your stay. If you smoke or plan to smoke during your stay, please find elsewhere. There is a penalty of $500 plus immediate removal from our property if seen and smelled an evidence of smoking. Thanks for understanding. • We are off the grid and are using a generator for all of our electricity needs. It will run starting at 5 pm and all night long until 6 am the next morning. 99% of our guests were not bothered by the generator running all night long ( they’re just happy to have the fan on during the night for a much comfortable sleep). It is situated away from the cottage on a hill inside its own building. • Our staff can cook your meals (with a fee) as an option. We would appreciate it if you could let us know ahead of time of any food allergies you may have. Sodas/beer/non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase. Please note: We do not allow hard liquor in the property. • We can arrange a shuttle service for pick up and drop off ahead of time upon request. The driver can make a quick stop at malls around the city for your groceries if you want to bring specific items, just let him know right away. Please note: the van transfer is not part of our business. Whatever you pay the driver, he takes it for his own. We only arrange his service for you.
