Peaceful, quiet and private guest house on 20 acres near the town of Penn Valley in Nevada County, California. Our place has a remote feel but is only 25 minutes from Grass Valley. This is the place to relax, be in nature and/or visit the nearby historic towns of Grass Valley, Nevada City, Ananda Village, the West Coast Falconry, and numerous wineries. Do note that this guest house does NOT have a kitchen, only a small frig and a microwave and a hot plate on request. The space The guest suite is a 500 square foot space separate from the main house (but connected via a breezeway). The guest suite has it's own furnace, air conditioning and water heater. The suite has two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has two twin beds. A microwave oven, a small frig and coffee maker are available. In addition we can make a full size outdoor grill available on request. There is a covered (by the breezeway) outside eating area. However there are NO ADDITIONAL kitchen facilities. Also there are stairs (without rails) involved in getting to and from the guest house. Guest access We can make washer and dryer available on request for extended stay guests. Other things to note Phone coverage: Verizon is good. AT&T coverage is OK if you walk up the driveway a few 100 feet. At this time not sure about other service providers like T-Mobile.
