Only 11 miles from Chattanooga, this lovely home, built in 1901, is on beautiful acreage directly across the road from Chickamauga Civil War Military Park. Just walk out your door and enjoy the miles of hiking and biking trails available in the park. Children will enjoy the two playrooms filled with toys, games and pretend play accessories. The space The home is next door to a guest bungalow available, upon request, as an add on for 4 additional guests. (Message host for information on renting the Bungalow). You can enjoy sitting on the front or back porch and listen to the birds, crickets, geese and all the other sounds of nature. The house is a traditional southern home, but the experience is closer to a cabin in the woods since our property is 20 acres and we are next to 5300 acres of park land. Guest access You are free to explore the property in the immediate vicinity of this house (excluding the bungalow next door unless your group has rented it as an add on). The property, pond and playground at the top of the hill are private and not available to our guests. There is an unfinished attic in the house that is locked and used only for private storage.
