Other things to note Please note that as with al homes in Monte Rico, water comes from a well, as there is not any tubed water system in Monte Rico. Water is perfectly fine for showering and washing things, however for drinking and cooking, you will need to buy some bottled water in the store close by or you can ask the house keeper to bring it to you. Please do not expect a luxury experience, the house has all basic requirements, but nothing else, like AC and so on. Also, Monte Rico is a natural habitat for FRUIT BATS. Sometime one can get into the house even though there are protections in the windows and roof, do not be alarmed as they are harmless.
