Where the Jungle Meets The Beach! Elevated on a 100-foot hill behind the beach, Casa Tranquila has one of the nicest views in the entire Palmetto Bay community, while also being very private. From our 1000+ square foot private deck, with private pool and hot tub, we have expansive ocean views, looking both west and north, as well as a picturesque overlook of the sloping hill below. TRANQUILA (slang for 'chill out')! The space Palmetto Bay is the only private eco beach communities of it's kind on Roatan. Located on the picture perfect north shore and mid-island, where you will find the most beautiful kaleidoscope of turquoise and blue sea colors, unique to Roatan. Our home, TRANQUILA, finished in early 2023, was designed to maximize our lot's privacy and views. Island feel meets modern amenities; we have paid close attention to details. Our goal was to blend the typical high-ceiling Roatan home design with more modern construction techniques and 'boutique-style' finishes. We are nestled within the jungle canopy on a private 1-acre lot, at the edge of a 100-foot tall bluff that overlooks the crystal-blue waters and reef of Palmetto Bay. Our villa's great room boasts 22-foot ceilings with a 24 foot wide sliding glass door that opens directly onto a large private deck with our private and secluded pool and hot tub, and gorgeous views of the reef and ocean. The main bedroom opens onto the deck and has a private bathroom with custom-built closets and a king bed. We have a second bedroom that also opens onto the deck, on the other side of the home, with custom closets and a king bed. The third bedroom shares the exterior guest bathroom with the second and has a queen and twin in a spacious setting. On the ground floor, we have a second family room/game room and a fourth bedroom with the queen bed. Guest access The entire home is accessible, other than a few locked owner storage areas. Other things to note Egyption and portuguese cotton bedding, high quality mattresses and pillows, custom furniture made in Honduras, modern finishes and appliances, cast iron cookware is the approach we have taken. We want our guests to enjoy the same quality that we enjoy. NOTE: If there are only 2 guests and thus you would not be using the guest bedrooms, guest air conditioning, etc. I can consider a price reduction. The A/C in the guest rooms would be locked off. I can also disable the hot tub and reduce the price further, if desired.
