Just a few blocks from the best restaurants, shops & Marina! Near ocean bluffs ( Mavericks) & Coastal Trail perfect for hiking, walking, bike riding. Short drive to downtown Half Moon Bay shops! Ideal for holidays & entertaining family on vacation! Fun for everyone including kids! The 2,100 sq ft home is cozy & roomy for a relaxing weekend in HMB! The space Interior Decorator's Coastal Home is a perfect retreat in Half Moon Bay/ El Granada. It is perfect for small group or families! If you love Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma, this is the house for your stay! This four bedroom home is just over 2,200 sq ft and has lots of living space for the holidays and vacations. The home offers three queen size beds and one full size bed plus a twin trundle bed. We have two toddler beds and various air mattresses that can be left out upon request. There is one bedroom on the main level with a full bathroom and the other three bedrooms are upstairs. The sofa is a DELUXE SLEEPER SOFA BED from Pottery Barn with a plush queen size mattress. The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen supplies. You will not be disappointed in the selection of pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses, and coffee makers! We have a Breville and a Nespresso machine for the coffee lovers in your group. We ask that you limit your group to 8 or 9 adults. We have a portable crib and two toddler cots. See photos. (We also have two twin size air mattresses that can be left UPON REQUEST). We can not accommodate more than four cars/ vehicles. Two cars in the driveway and two in front of our house out front. More than four cars will be an issue so please message in regard to parking if you have questions. ( we may be able to offer suggestions if you have an additional vehicle) Let us know if children are staying and we will put out the games and age appropriate toys. We have doll houses and lots of fun games to occupy the children. We have a water table for toddlers and beach /water toys during warm weather months for the older kids too! The more information you give about your group/ family, the better I can customize your stay! ( I taught interior decorating classes and party planning classes in Minneapolis for several years. I love to host and cater your stay at our vacation home.) The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, coffee makers and cookware. We also have a custom gas BBQ grill and tools. (We clean the grill after each group.) We are just a couple blocks from the Marina where you can purchase fresh fish and crab for dinner right off the dock! We can leave stock pots for crab upon request. The house has been updated with new wood floors, new appliances and a fresh new look. 2018. The bedding is all fresh and new including the sheets for your comfort. We keep beach mats, umbrellas, and yoga mats at the front door for your use! We also provide beach chairs, blankets, picnic blankets and a cooler. High Speed Internet 250 Mbps. Xfinity speed test at 281.19 download speed. USB charger outlets for I-phones, tablets, etc. Relax in our spacious and peaceful fenced backyard. We have two outdoor sofas, a huge outdoor dining table with six chairs plus lots of extra seating as well as bar carts for dining alfresco! The spa/ hot tub will be clean and treated for your stay. The neighborhood is El Granada. We are about three blocks up from the beach, coastal trails and Princeton Harbor. The location is close enough to the fun in the harbor but up just a few blocks so you are protected from the cold ocean wind. ( they call our little area the banana belt) Princeton Harbor is still a fishing harbor where the live catch of the day can be purchased directly from the fishermen. Just walk down to the dock and the fisherman's boards will display what is available for purchase each day. Kayaks, Paddle boards and bikes can be rented at Half Moon Bay Kayak right off of HWY 1 at the lights into Princeton Harbor. Sams Chowder House Restaurant, Half Moon Bay Brewery (Restaurant), Meza Luna, and Barbara's Fish Trap restaurant are all within walking distance from our home. They all feature wonderful outdoor seating - all by the bay nearby. You can also order pizza from Harbour Pizza. (they have Gluten Free Pizza) It is also a treat to enjoy breakfast at The Press. Stop by for coffee as well as breakfast and lunch. Via Uno,Pasta Moon, and the Flying Fish are three of our favorite nearby places to enjoy a lovely dinner and wine! San Francisco is 30 minutes north and Palo Alto is 40 minutes away. SFO is 15 miles and about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Santa Cruz is a beautiful 45 minute drive along the coast. Monterrey is 1.5 hours south of Half Moon Bay. Sonoma and NapaValley are 1.5 hours north. This is a great central point for your California Adventure! Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home except for the garage, a few closets and cabinets that we have locked. The private backyard and grill are available for your exclusive use. Other things to note If you would like an additional cleaning during your stay, it is an additional $140. Contact me and I can make arrangements. This option is for guests stay a week or more. We have a $70 pet/dog fee that goes directly to our cleaning crew if you bring a pet. No more than three dogs and we cap the pet fee at $100. We also a require a full list of the names of the adult guests staying in the home. Please message us the full list before check in. Thank you! Our house is great for family get together, girls weekends, wedding guests and couples. We do not allow parties at the house. I cannot stress enough that this is not a party house. It is a quiet family neighborhood. Neighbors will immediately report if you violate the cities noise ordinance after 9 pm on weekdays and 10 pm on weekends. This is standard in all of Half Moon Bay. The number allowed on property is limited to the number agreed upon during booking. We are a neighborhood and cannot be a big party house. It is a family neighborhood and we ask that you bring the group inside at 9 pm on weekdays and 10 pm on weekends. ( same as most of your neighborhoods across the country :) We have installed a noise alert box to alert us to high levels of noise. Parking: The driveway holds two vehicles. Two additional vehicles can be parked in front of the house on the street. Please note: Avenue Balboa is a one way street. Parking is allowed on both sides of the street unless otherwise marked.
