NO EXCEPTIONS …No Parties Only guests staying in the house are invited to use the amenities. Please do not make arrangements for large gatherings at our home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and have guaranteed our friends and neighbors that our renters will behave in that same fashion More than 6 guests will put a strain on the water system…see notes about the neighborhood well :) Please be sure to bring drinking water. Although we use the well water from the tap to cook, shower etc- sometimes there will be a little sediment from the well- so PLEASE bring some drinking water. Also of note- although we have a small store on the island ( Guemes Island General Store) they carry only a minimal amount of groceries- & beer and wine and ICE CREAM! There are no fresh fruits or vegetables available. Please do your marketing in Anacortes at Safeway or the Market of Anacortes...or if you are local you can bring from home as we always do Also when you barbeque please MOVE the bbq AWAY from the window. We have had a broken window due to excessive heat...as well as a burnt window screen. We keep the barbeque on that side of the house to keep the salt water wear to a minimum. I will send you the ferry schedule and other notes of interest via USPS upon approval of the reservation. Guest access Bring your boat/canoes/kayaks with you- public access footsteps away....biking, beach walks, and breathtaking views !!! No smoking and No Pets PLEASE ! There is an empty lot next to us which belongs to another family...our cousins- please avoid trespassing. During the summer there is lots of action on north beach, as the weather is perfect and it does not get dark till almost 10! If you want "quiet time" during the high peak season especially July & August, this is not for you. Lots of kids and activity much to our delight. Large gatherings are not allowed at our beach house. 5349 LLC ( owners) will have no liability to you or your family, or accompanying guests for any injury, loss, damage to any guest, personal injury of any guest arising from your stay at our beach home. Other things to note Pack & Play is available with linens. Please see the guest book for details of activities on and off the island. Our kitchen is fully stocked with almost any spice you could need. We do have a Brita Water pitcher but suggest you bring additional drinking water. We DO NOT provide the following- Ziplock Bags Coffee Condiments- there may be some leftovers from previous guests but we do not provide them.
