Welcome! Our charming 2 bedroom guesthouse is located in the middle of our 23 acre farm. Currently the property is being used for livestock - cattle (and one donkey named Jasper). Please note: The pool will be open the first week in May thru Labor Day Weekend (sometimes longer if weather permits). The space About the guest house: Our guest house has a very country cottage vibe. The two bedrooms are located upstairs with a full bath. Downstairs you will find a kitchenette and a large living room with a rock fireplace. Please do not plan on having a strong wifi connection as you are out in the country! The appliances in the house are not new- but they are in working condition. We do allow pets on an approval basis (must be house trained and friendly with others). We have a courtyard directly out of the back door which connects to our home (no dogs allowed in the courtyard). There is a 30,000 gallon in-ground chlorinated pool that has child proof gates. (We don't allow pets in the pool or pool area for safety and sanitary reasons.) We have 8 commercial pool chairs, plenty of floats and a speaker system you can Bluetooth your phone to with music. If there is anything else that you need we are steps away so don't hesitate to ask. Guest access As our guest, you can use the grassy courtyard including the grill, dining set, metal fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and the pool below. Pool use is for guest use only, unless pre-approved by us. There are no lifeguards so swim at your own risk. If you have pets, please bring a leash and feel free to walk them around the outside of the guest house. Pets are not allowed in the courtyard, pool or pool area (for safety and sanitary reasons). Other things to note The guest house is pet friendly, and we welcome all pets with initial permission. Please bring a leash to walk your pet and remember pet food. We have a water bowl, treats, and a dog bed available to accommodate your pet. However, we ask that you do not allow pets to sit on the furniture (we have experienced mud stains and long nails have ripped holes), pets are not allowed in the backyard courtyard, the pool and pool area (for sanitary and safety reasons). Any damage will be reported and repair expenses deducted from the security deposit.
