Breakfast for two persons is included in the rate. Cabin 14 is a rustic standard riverside cabin for a couple. The bed and dresser are made of local hardwood harvested on site. The space Cabin 14 is a stand alone cabin ideal for couples or friends that don't mind sharing a bed. It's an open floor plan with a queen sized bed. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, toaster, microwave, 32" cable TV, and coffee maker (and coffee, sugar, creamer), and most importantly, air conditioning! The cabin is in front of the New River with a private porch and its own hammock. Kick back and enjoy views of the New River, iguanas, crocodiles, hummingbirds, and even the occasional sugar barge. The bathroom has a semi-private, frosted glass door. The New River that runs alongside the property was called Tzul Wuinik Cob by the Mayas which translates to "river of strange faces". Guest access Feel free to roam the property! There are several palapas along the river where you can sit and read a book or enjoy your morning coffee or a beer. Whatever floats your boat! The restaurant on the property, Maracas Bar and Grill, is open for lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday. Ask the bartender for the canoe and take a paddle up the river! Other things to note LAMANAI ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE We offer tours to Lamanai daily. Tours depart from the dock in front of your cabin at 9 am and return between 3 and 4 pm. The rate is US $60 per person and includes entrance fee to the park, tour of the museum, a Belizean lunch, and a tour of the ball court and the temples, including the High Temple overlooking the lagoon. ONSITE RESTAURANT Maracas Bar and Grill is located on site. Open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. CHECKING OUT Please leave the key in the drop box when you check out. We have a night watchman that works from 6:30pm to 6:30am. If he sees you he will introduce himself.
