Unplug and get away from civilisation as you climb 11 meters up into a baobab treehouse, surrounded by coastal forest and views of the close by Indian Ocean. Ground level offers a self catering kitchen, seating area, shower and beach front sun beds. Climb to the first floor bathroom and continue climbing up to the bedroom. This is a rustic treehouse with basic comforts for those looking for a unique experience. This stay is for the adventurous traveller who is not afraid of heights! The space The ground floor kitchen area is under cover while the seating area has an open view looking up to the treehouse above. There are storage shelves with cover and a sink area for dishes, with a cabinet for produce. The outdoor shower is located at the edge of the treehouse with privacy partitions. The first stairs lead up to a fully functioning bathroom with porcelain flush toilet and sink. Bamboo shelving for toiletries and driftwood found from the beach as clothes hanger. All under roof cover. The bedroom at the top of the tree has a queen size bed with mosquito net, 2 comfortable reading chairs, a small table for personal items and an old dow wood boat made into shelving, there is also a lockbox for valuables with padlock and key. Again this area is under roof cover, with wooden railings and a view overlooking the ocean. Guest access Entire space is accessible. Other things to note The beach unfortunately receives abundance of waste from the Indian Ocean. As we value the importance of contributing to the environment and reducing this pollution, we include a beach clean up within the cleaning fee that is paid in your stay.
