The space The location provides excellent access to some of the best hiking, biking, white water rafting, skiing, hunting, and fly fishing in the USA. The land backs up to 4000 acres of national forest. This is an outdoor lovers dream, but an indoor lovers getaway. Soak in the sunrise with a morning cup of coffee on the top deck. Meander down our private hiking trail to a secluded picnic lookout. Break out the yard games or play a few rounds of pool while watching the game, and cook up a feast in one of our two kitchens or outside grill. Unwind from the busy day with a spa like soak in the hot tub under the starry night, and roast marshmallows by the campfire. Guest access The entire house and 35 acres of private land is available to guests Other things to note In the winter we recommend guests have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up the mountain. The road is unpaved and we can get a lot of snow. Guests are required to comply with Garfield County Fire ordinances. If an open fire is lit during a fire ban, the sheriff will be called and you will be cited and/ or fined.
