The cabin is located in a private wooded setting on three and one-half acres of land backing up to State Land and Rocky Mountain. Comfortable living room, dining room, kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, including dishwasher. Full bath, hot showers. The space The cabin has a comfortable living room, wood stove/fireplace, fully stocked kitchen with toaster, coffee maker, hot water teapot, waffle iron, blender, microwave, elec. food chopper, and crockpot. Enclosed lighted back porch with rockers and views into the woods. A private main bedroom on the first floor has a queen-sized bed. Two loft bedrooms upstairs have 1 queen sized bed, one futon, and two twins, one of which has a trundle bed pull-out. The deer and turkey come and go most anytime. We have had two bear incidents so far. One was a bear on the back porch because someone left food there. The other was a bear walking up the driveway past the camp. They are always sniffing out food. Just keep it inside when you are done eating. Internet phone can call anywhere in the country for free, internet is available, flat-screen TV in LR, another TV upstairs for VCRs and DVDs. Another TV in the master bedroom for DVD watching. Plenty of VHS and DVD movies, 100 or so, including lots of kid's movies, are there at the cabin to watch on rainy days. Two TV's and players, one upstairs for the kids to watch movies, and one down. We have a nice library of books on shelves throughout the the cabin, many of which are Adirondack oriented. Great for rainy day reading. Guest access Entire cabin except locked hall closet. We store our odds and ends in there to keep the place uncluttered for guests. NOTE: The washer and dryer/laundry room is available for rentals of 5 (five) nights or longer. For rentals of 3-4 nights, the laundry room is locked. The assumption is that you are able to bring enough changes of clothes/towels with you for shorterr stays. Other things to note We have an automatic generator there in case of any power outage. You are never out of power, heat, water, etc.
