Welcome y'all! Kick off your boots and rest during your stay at our centrally located home. Enjoy all of the beauty and history that Virginia has to offer with some Texas hospitality! We are home-grown Texans living in Virginia hoping to share a small slice of the Lone Star State with our guests. Don't forget to grab your thank you gift before you head off into the sunset! The space Upper level, gracious two bedrooms and one bath located within walking distance from Amherst central district. Lower level is our personal garage and office. We will minimize our time in those spaces during your stay to give you privacy and a quiet environment. Guest access A short flight of stairs take you to your private living space. The home has original hard-wood floors, natural light in every room, a large television with Roku in the living room, and WiFi access. Dining for 2-4 is located in the kitchen. Other things to note We live within miles of the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway. There are numerous hiking trails and clear streams and rivers for various water activities. If you visit during the winter months, we are also close to Wintergreen Ski Resort. Orchards for picking your own fresh fruits are available when in season. Breweries, cideries, and wineries are also nestled throughout the region. Local colleges are located as follows: Liberty University is 22 minutes away Randolph College is 24 minutes away Sweet Briar College is 8 minutes away University of Lynchburg is 25 minutes away Book your reservation at our home early as prices of hotels drastically increase for graduation and other special events on campus.
