Our place features a modern urban flair, an open floor-plan layout, plus a paved outdoor patio. Located only 15mins from Manhattan, this gorgeous home offers convenient access to the best NYC attractions, restaurants, and shops. Experience the city like a local from the comfort of your own, private retreat. The space (for corporate rentals, see paragraph below) Unique "urban jungle" interior, private apartment with open concept full kitchen, eating and living room area, spa-feeling bathroom with walk-in shower, and quiet bedroom with queen-sized bed and light-blocking curtain. The kitchen has everything you will need for cooking, including a fridge and a full oven, as well as an automated coffee machine ...and of course, we provide you with enough pods to get you started. You will also have a full sized fridge with a freezing compartment. The living room has a Roku TV/entertainment center, so you can easily connect your streaming services (incl. Spotify, Netflix, HBOmax, Prime, and many more). Don't have any streaming services? No problem, watch the featured free movies, some of the included free live TV hosted, or use YouTube on the entertainment center! From the kitchen, you will have direct access to a small paved patio area! The lower level of the patio is all yours to use. All amenities of daily life are within walking distance. A laundromat and dry-cleaner are on the same block, multiple grocery stores are in walking distance, and the popular Central Avenue and Palisades Avenue with a multitude of restaurants and shopping possibilities are under 5 minutes away. Even better, you have 2 wonderful parks in walking distance! Riverview Fisk Park, with its gorgeous skyline views of Manhattan, is only a 4 minute wa away. Washington Park, with its many sport courts, open-air gym, and gorgeous gardens, is only a 5-minute walk away. Or choose from one of the two fully equipped, indoor gyms in walking distance - these are an approx. 5-minute walk away. Your security and safety are essential to us! We have, therefore, added a second heavy-duty house door so that even solo travelers can feel comfortable and at ease during their stay. Staying 6+ weeks? We offer a free, complimentary monthly cleaning, at a time of your choosing. Our professional cleaning team will bring the apartment back to squeaky clean, so you can enjoy your stay even more! (excluding sheet and towel laundry during complimentary mid-stay cleanings - these can be added on request for an additional fee) Last but not least, we have amenities for work-cations or working from home (WFH), including a mobile work desk for the couch/bed and a small laptop stand to convert the eating table to a standing work desk. We can provide an additional monitor for work (on request) to make your work experience with us more comfortable and efficient. Complimentary (and on request): external computer monitor; ergonomic pillow; Corporate Rentals In addition to regular Airbnb, we specialize in corporate rentals and provide the perfect place for your company's employees. Corporate rentals are of the highest quality and have additional (optional) amenities and services to make your employee's stay flawless. If you’re a designated trip planner for your company’s Airbnb for Work account, you can create reservations on behalf of others. When you book a stay for someone else, you handle the reservation request, introductions, and payment—then transfer responsibility for the trip to the guest. Once a reservation is accepted, both you and the guest join the message thread with the Host so you both receive all trip communications. We are looking forward to hosting your company! Guest access You will have your own, separate entrance to the apartment unit, and access to a paved patio. The lower level of the patio is yours to use. The patio is considered a shared area. However, you will have it to yourself 99% of the time. The separate entrance has 2 doors. The first door (house door) opens into an entryway. The second door (apartment door) opens unto the apartment unit. The entryway is not technically part of your Airbnb space, but feel free to leave your shoes here, as no one else will enter this space (unless maintenance is needed) Other things to note Please be aware that you are booking an apartment in the New York Metropolitan Area, not the suburbs! That means that during business hours, you might hear sounds from the surrounding buildings, traffic, and businesses, despite being in a quiet neighborhood. Our apartment is relatively quiet, but if you need a complete absence of sound, this might not be the right Airbnb for you. Night times are usually very quiet. Please make sure to read our house rules, as you are agreeing to them when you book. Our guest's safety and comfort are of the highest priority to us. To this end, we have cameras in the front and back of the building (outside), as well as inside the entryway areas (in front of / outside of the Airbnb apartment). The inside of the Airbnb apartment is your private area, beginning at the apartment door. There is a house door BEFORE the apartment door that opens to a small entryway. The entryway is not technically part of your Airbnb space, but feel free to leave your shoes here, as 99% of the time no one else will enter this space (unless maintenance is needed).
