This 2 bedroom, 1 bath western themed home is ready to welcome you with warmth. The Cowboy Getaway is a rustic, yet modern home with a sofa table workspace, usb plugs, locally roasted coffee, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom, & incredibly comfortable mattresses for a fabulous night's sleep. With wifi, Roku on the TV, books, playing cards & more, you're able to choose how you relax after a long day of traveling, a day at the Calamus, or a rainy day of vacation. Our goal is that you are blessed! The space At the Cowboy Getaway, up to 6 guests can comfortably enjoy time together. As you walk in the front door you'll enter into the open living room, dining area, and kitchen. The sofa table seats 3 in well-cushioned stools, the dining table seats 4, and then there's the welcoming corner couch for a great relaxing space. In the kitchen, you'll find enough dinnerware for 6, a few pots & pans, other cooking/baking items, and basic seasonings. Burwell's own Normal Roasting Company's fresh roasted coffee is something we're excited to offer you at the coffee bar. In bedroom 1, you'll find a lush 14" deep queen bed. In bedroom #2, 4 can sleep in the twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle, all with mattresses chosen for your comfort. In the bathroom, there's a stand up shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and a washer/dryer unit so you can keep up on everyone's laundry leaving you less vacation catch-up when you get back home. No worries, we've included laundry soap and wool dryer balls for your use too. If you'd rather have fresh, line-dried laundry, there's a clothesline in the backyard. Guest access You'll have full access to the Cowboy Getaway. You can even use the attached garage if needed for smaller vehicles or extra items you're traveling with (this is an older garage and thus smaller, it will not fit many of today's vehicles, except smaller cars). You can find some game balls in there for you to use at the playground or court across the street. The basement (that is not accessible from inside the house) will be locked up and we do ask that you not use the detached garage back in the back. The home does not have mail service, we ask that you please do not have anything sent there as it has no way to arrive. Other things to note There is a court straight across the street with a basketball hoop that is available during non-school hours. Also available just half a block away is the elementary school playground that is open for public use when school is not in session.
