Colonial House on 75 acres, pond, stream
Ideal getaway in Warwick, NY. Our four bedroom colonial home has 2 living rooms with beautiful wood fireplaces, dining room and country kitchen, centered in 75 acres with views of our beautiful pond, open fields, fenced pastures, woods and streams. It is 50 minutes from the George Washington Bridge. The space The house is a four bedroom center hall colonial, overlooking a beautiful hillside, huge lawns with oak, sycamore, maple , mulberry and apple trees, our pond, and fenced pastures. Either side of the center hallway are the two living rooms, each with a fireplace and window air conditioning , and the dining room and kitchen. The den has comfortable convertible sofa, tv and sound system providing comfortable accommodation for guests with the guest bathroom nearby. Up the central staircase are four bedrooms and two bath rooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, while the shared bathroom is off of the central hall upstairs. There is a two room finished basement, with an office desk, electric keyboard, tv, comfortable sofas and easy chairs, a wonderful sound system and a treadmill and weight station. The washer and dryer are in the attached laundry room. The front of the house overlooks the huge lawn, with lawn furniture and eight person wood picnic table and the pond, while the side of the house overlooks the hillside, fields and woods. There is a back patio off the kitchen, also with outdoor furniture. Down the hillside is our six person sauna with enough room for us to do our hot yoga!! We built the house in 1980, using 18th C. doors, floors and windows and have filled it with antique furnishings. There is plenty of free wood for the fireplaces. Guest access Guests have access to all areas. Other things to note This is an animal friendly home.
