Our home has been designed and decorated by a professional interior decorator to bring our guests a unique and joyous stay. The interior is mostly upgraded to ensure that guests have a comfortable stay. It's an old house, and the stairs make noise when you step on it. My contractor was not able to fix it unless we rebuild the stairs. We care about your comfort and safety and strive to be the best that we can be. This rental is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, full house with a stocked and functional kitchen. The master contains a queen size bed, the second bedroom contains a queen and the third bedroom contains a full size bed. We also have a queen air mattress in the living room closet. Our property is situated on a quiet street and with dedicated parking in the back and street parking out front. This house is full of it original craftsman architectural charm with beautiful woodwork throughout. To highlight these features warm colors were chosen for the walls and contrasted with a dark trim to create a updated take on the craftsman aesthetic. The art throughout the home was chosen with care, and the majority are pieces by the famous American portrait artist John Singer Sargent who was painting in the United States during the period of time when craftsman homes were coming into popularity. The house is furnished with a combination of updated vintage pieces and some new pieces of furniture. We hope that this homage to the craftsman era of architecture will bring you as much joy as it brings us. The master bedroom is equipped with blackout curtains, a queen bed, a closet and a desk with a lamp and mirror to function as a vanity or workspace. This room has excellent views of the ravine as well as ample natural light. The second bedroom is furnished with blackout curtains, a queen bed, small closet and a small table with a mirror placed beside it creating a standing vanity. The third bedroom is furnished with blackout curtains, a full size bed, a small closet and a small table with a mirror placed beside it to function as a standing vanity. The kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your needs, with a 4 burner electric stove and oven, a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot and kettle. You will also find cutting boards, pots and pans, dining ware and utensils. The kitchen contains a coffee “nook” equipped with a coffee pot capable of full pot brewing or single cup brewing along with an electric kettle and an option of green or black tea, as well as coffee whitener, sugar and sugar alternatives, all available to ensure that you can maintain your favorite morning rituals, even when away from home. The bathroom has been updated to highlight the beauty if the original floor tiles and contains neutral greys, and warm bronze tons. The updated vanity light provides excellent lighting for all those self care moments that many of us start and end our days with. You have access to the entire house except for any locked doors (basement) Please do not allow kids to be unattended. Other things to note We have classified our listing as appropriate for babies and children, not because we have baby proofed every inch of it but because we offer amenities for families that we believe make it appropriate for families with children. However, the unit is not fully baby proofed and is not safe for babies and toddlers to run free in unsupervised. Fitted sheets, flat sheets, pillow cases and towels are washed and sanitized with bleach after each check out. Even if we expect guests not to stain our linens and towels, accidents do happen, and we try our best to remove stains. Please note that some stains are impossible to completely disappear, no matter how hard we try [Bleach, Oxiclean, Vinegar, Stain treatments, you name it]. On rare cases, you might find some light stains on the linens and towels. Rest assured that they are washed and sanitized with bleach. We only provide linens we feel comfortable using by ourselves. If this bothers you, please contact us and request for brand new bed linens and towel at additional costs. Duvet covers and decorative pillow/blankets are washed as needed. Please sleep in between fitted sheet and flat sheet, not on top of the duvet. Dusting, window cleaning, baseboard & trim etc are done on a regular basis. If you're expecting a deep cleaned house, please make sure to inform us in advance and it'll be a different cleaning fee.
