Massanutten Resort is an easy 10 minute drive. The space River house is nestled on the beautiful Shenandoah River with a spectacular year round river front view. This cabin is located 10 minutes from Massanutten Resort! Being located on the water front is amazing in the fall and spring. River house is decorated in an Early American Colonial Theme with many antiques and period decor. Enjoy the mountain and river views while relaxing and taking it easy on one of two covered porches or from the hot tub. Vacation in style while having the full features of a home at your finger tips. Explore the river or the nearby national parks, all at your own pace. Additionally, this property is located in a town steeped in railroad history. Occasionally, you will hear trains. Please be sure to check out the train museum in the town of Shenandoah-just a short drive away. River house is a great place to relax. Enjoy a local hike along the river walking along a well worn path or venture into town for shopping and dining. The Shenandoah National Park is also very close by and offers many recreational opportunities. Guest access Guest access will include the entire house as well as almost a mile of hiking path along the river, canoe, hot tub and fire pit. Other things to note A river front cabin is also available on the property and may be rented in addition to the River House to allow for larger parties. The Cabin sleeps up to 8 guests. We are pet friendly and allow up to 2 dogs. Prior approval required for any other pet. Please be sure to include your pet(s) when booking your reservation. Our check-out time of 11:00 AM is firm, as our cleaning staff have multiple properties to get ready for the guests who are following your stay. Guest will be billed at $100.00 per hour for a late check-out beginning at 11:15 AM. We do realize that sometimes packing can be cumbersome, and time consuming, however we want our vacation rentals to be sparkling clean for our next vacationers.
