Penthouse Suite room 77 Historic Val Verde Hotel
This is the penthouse of the Historic Val Verde Hotel in Socorro. Built in 1919 this hotel was home to countless historical figures including Elizabeth Taylor, 8 New Mexico Governors, Conrad Hilton, and many more. This third floor is private with its own stairs and due to the time built there is no wheelchair access. This was once the living quarters of the hotel for all who worked there. Guests will receive a free tour of the property. It is thought to be haunted though we haven't seen anything The space The 3rd floor apartment is all yours. 2 bedrooms and a huge living room. Huge dining room. Private bathroom. Plus you have access to the beautiful courtyard day and night. This is a 100 year old hotel. It’s not new. You’ll hear noises and see parts of the building with substantial wear and tear. This is not the Hilton. But it’s pretty awesome. Guest access Hotel lobby, courtyard, and private stairs leading to your apartment. Other things to note Filming or exploring the hotel requires approval. Ghost hunting is prohibited without written approval.
