Enchanted Nook is 1150 sf 2 bedroom (King and Queen) cabin nestled in Alto. It is a beautiful, peaceful home at 7500' elevation. 3 smart TV's (Roku) with hi speed internet for your streaming accounts; local news via antenna. The space At 7500 ft. elevation, Enchanted Nook has a warm and cozy atmosphere . Tongue and Groove Pine throughout the cabin gives it a Mountain feel. It is located off the road on a one acre lot surrounding by Tall Pines, giving a more secluded feeling. It has a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer and gas fireplace that is controlled by a wall switch (no Firewood to buy!) You can enjoy Burgers on the Blackstone on the back deck while enjoying a spectacular view of Sierra Blanca and Nogal Peak. We provide 1 gig internet service for the 3 Smart TV's -streaming (Netflix, Amazon, Roku) located in the bedrooms and living area with access to local channels from the Antenna. We offer central air and heat, Keurig, French Press and Mr. Coffee ready for that morning cup of coffee on the deck. Also, each bedroom and the living room have ceiling fans so you can enjoy the mountain air in the summer time. We have a fenced courtyard area for small dogs as mentioned in our house rules - a $30.00 pet fee per stay will be applied to the guest during the reservation process. Drive north 1 .5 miles to the HWY 37 turnoff and take the Bonito Creek road to Bonito Lake - a beautiful lake that has risen from the ashes of the 2012 Little Bear Fire. The lake is fully restored and now twice as deep as its original depth. We are 3 miles north of Ski Run Road where you will find Winter Park with year round tubing and a mountain coaster/ drive further and you will find yourself atop Sierra Blanca Mountain, at almost 12,000'.
