The space The Loft is a spacious studio apartment located above our detached garage. Featuring unique architecture and plentiful skylights letting in the natural light. King size bed, sitting area, dining area and kitchenette with Mini Fridge, Microwave, Toaster Oven, and Hot Plate. Keurig coffee pot as well as traditional drip and a pour over option. We provide coffee and creamer. We do not have TV as we would rather you focus on connection. There is a jet pack hotspot for WiFi connection and a Bose Radio/CD player. We are exited to offer our newly completed (Spring 2022) backyard Garden Patio for our guests. Relax and enjoy your coffee in the peaceful Amish countryside listening to the birds and the soothing sound of the water fountain, watching the Amish buggies go by. Curl up in the egg chair with a good book. Eat your chicken bbq from our Amish neighbors at the bistro set. Bask in the golden sunset roasting s’mores over the tabletop fireplace or if you prefer the crackling ambiance of wood, there’s that option too. A truly gorgeous relaxing spot to relax in tranquil Amish country. PLEASE NOTE the backyard Garden Patio is a shared space with guests that may have booked The Cottage over your same dates. Over two dozen purifying house plants as well as the soft glow of a Himalayan salt lamp and bubbling fountain add to the ambience. I am all about natural health so you will not find air fresheners or strong scented candles in my units. You can rest assured we strive for spotless cleanliness. In the unit you will find a high quality air purifier so you can feel completely safe staying in our space. More about the space…The Loft was once the hayloft for Ammon’s Amish grandfather whose horse and buggy were housed below. Ammon who works in construction, turned it into a lovely open sanctuary with nine skylights and eight windows. Guest access You are welcome to sit outside and enjoy our back yard (and also use fire pit upon request). Other things to note We offer an accommodation in our peaceful setting nestled in the heart of Amish country. Our property is surrounded by Amish farmland and directly across the road from an Amish school house. You will see our Amish neighbors walking, pushing scooters or in their buggies using the farm lane directly beside the cottage or working in their farm fields beside us.
