Welcome to the Ledges Resort & Marina! We are located on the St. Lawrence River across from Boldt Castle and Sunken Rock Lighthouse. We have ten cottages of various sizes spread throughout the property. Six acres of landscaped grounds and gardens wander along the river for your enjoyment. We have decks, hammocks, and gazebos along the water. The large in-ground pool is newly renovated. Each cottage has their own firepit with Adirondak chairs, and we provide firewood for free! The space High speed Wi-Fi is in every cottage and throughout the grounds. Each cottage has an outdoor dining area and gas grill. There are plenty of open lawn areas to play catch, yard games, or just take a walk. Canoes and kayaks are available to Ledges guests at no charge. We have Boston Whaler and pontoon boat rentals on site. We also offer guided scenic tours in an antique wooden boat! Or if you want to bring your own boat, dockage for up to a 25' boat is included with the Harbor House. If you need a larger dock slip they are available for $2 per foot/per night. Dock slips include power and water hook-ups. We have plenty space to park your boat trailer, and there are three free public launch ramps within one mile of us. Each cottage is fully prepped and stocked with anything you would need. All beds are made up with fresh sheets, blankets, and comforters. The bathrooms are set with fresh bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, a bathmat, and luxury toiletries. The kitchens have everything you need including pots, pans, silverware and dishes. They have a micowave, drip-coffee maker, toaster, blender, and tea kettle. You will also find kitchen basics like dish soap, tin foil, dish sponges, paper towels, salt, pepper, and other items. From The Ledges it is an easy one mile walk to the center of downtown Alexandria Bay. You will have easy access to shopping, dining, tours, parks, and attractions. There is a new public playground right on our street. Downtown you fill find scenic view park. It has a public beach for river swimming, a playground, and a large pavilion on the water. With our location and six acres of private grounds we offer a level of peace, space, and privacy that you won’t find at a hotel. At the Ledges you have the best of both worlds, relaxation and convenience! The Ledges is a dog friendly resort. We do require dogs to be kept on a leash at all times, be cleaned up after, and kept off all furniture. Owners must be responsible and make sure their dogs do not cause noise or disturbances to other guests. There is a $35 per night/per dog fee. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This listing is for the Harbor House. It is a three bedroom, two bath home. It is actually a floating cottage! If you have your own boat or rent one you can tie it up right in front of your living room! There is a deck all the way around the cottage on the lower level. The master bedroom has a balcony with a view of Boldt Caste. The deck is a great place to fish or just relax and enjoy the river. Upstairs: The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The balcony has a spectacular view of the Boldt Castle and Sunken Rock Lighthouse. The second bedroom upstairs has two queen beds. The upstairs bathroom has a stand-up shower. Downstairs: There is a large entryway. This leads to the downstairs bedroom, bathroom, and living room/kitchen. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed. The downstairs bathroom has a full tub and shower. The living area is combined with the kitchen. The kitchen features a full size stove with oven, full-size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. It has all new cooking utensils, pots, pans, glasses, and dishes. There is a dining table with seating for six with another outdoor dining table on the deck. The living room offers a beautiful view of the river. There are French-doors that open up to the deck. Guest access We have plenty of parking on site. If you are bringing your own boat we have trailer parking available. There is a free public boat launch less than a mile from us. We have six acres of landscaped grounds where you can walk, fish, ship-watch, and relax. We have a large in-ground pool area for our guests. We have easy access to everything in The Thousand Islands. There is a playground with a basketball court on our street. The public golf course is less than a mile from us. There is a neighborhood grocery store at the end of our street. You can hire a fishing guide that will pick you up in their boat right at our dock! We also have boat rentals available at The Ledges. Downtown Alexandria Bay is also easily walkable from The Ledges Resort for shopping, restaurants, boat tours, a public beach, and lots more! Other things to note * IMPORTANT NOTE: Pets are allowed only with prior approval. There is a $35 PER NIGHT/PER PET fee. Adding pets to your reservation through AirBnb does not add the pet fee automatically. The pet fee will be billed through AirBnB separately from the original reservation. Pets must be leashed at all times, cleaned up after, and kept off furniture. This cottage includes dockage for up to a 25' boat free of charge. If you need dockage for a larger or additional boat it is $2 per foot/per night. *Important Note* We allow a maximum number of 8 guests in this cottage. AirBnB’s booking system excludes infants (children under 2) from their guest count. Please be aware that we do not exclude them from the guest count. We do not allow over 8 people in this cottage regardless of their age.
