Both upstairs and downstairs have their own entertainment system as well as books, toys and plenty of kid-friendly movies. Everyone can enjoy the 6 person Hot tub which also looks out on the lake! Our remodeled kitchen lets you cook as much, or as little as you’d like, and includes a new dishwasher to finish the clean up while you soak in the hot tub. Please note there is only one full bath and one half bath if you are bringing a large group. There is an outdoor shower during warm months however. Both upstairs bedrooms have a deck and a view and a queen size bed. Master bedroom also has ½ bath attached. Upstairs, a newly renovated full bathroom with shower has a dual sink for extra convenience. Downstairs you’ll find another guest bedroom with a queen-sized bed as well as 4 charming twin-size built-in bunk beds and another deck off the recreation area. Ready for a taste of summer? Head out for some peach and berry-picking (you’ll find the perfect orchard right down the road) before you come back and fire up the barbeque. Hutchins Lake is an endless source of summer fun. Spend the day kayaking and splashing, then star gaze on the pier with a bonfire in the fire pit completing the scene. The private pier is perfect for lounging with your toes in the water, fishing, swimming and boating. There is a 2 person sit on top kayak, 2 single kayaks as well as 2 Stand up Paddleboards, available for guest use, as well as lots of great lake toys and rafts. There’s even a boat launch nearby if you have your own. Craving a little more lake? Lake Michigan is a 10 minute drive away. Spend a day playing in the sand, then come back and rinse off in the outdoor shower. Guest access The pier is shared with our neighbor so please stick to the right hand side of the pier. Other things to note The house is very close to the lake and there is a view of it from the house but it is not right on the lake. It is approximately a 2 block walk to the lake but not across any busy roads, just through the back yard. Also there is only 1 full bath and 1 1/2 bath. Please keep that in mind for large groups! There are 4 tv's in the . They all offer streaming services opportunities(Netflix) and there are 2 DVD players in the house as well. The pier and the pontoon boat are not guaranteed to be in prior Memorial Day nor after Labor Day. If there is a quick turnover the day of check in the Hot Tub may not always be at temperature by the time of check in. It may require 3 hours to heat up. There are 2 coffeemakers, 1 that is regular drip and the other is a Keurig. There are 4 kayaks, 1 is a child kayak, and 1 is a double adult kayak, the other 2 are single adult kayaks. There are 2 stand up paddle boards. There is one small fishing boat as well that can be used and recommend using the long paddles with that one. There is an additional pet fee of $125 per pet applied when pets accompany guests for 1 -week long stays. For shorter stays the pet fee is $25 per pet per night. Airbnb has a default pet fee of $75, but I will make adjustments to this based on number if pets and number of nights. Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture and should not be left in the house alone without a kennel. There is a 25$ per night per person charge for guests over 8 guests.
