Enjoy FULL views of the sunrise and sunset from the dining room, living room and large deck. Step down from the deck to the beach for a leisurely walk or build your own sandcastle at the foot of the 'Castle House.' Please note that the Castle House rents for full weeks in the summer (incl. Sept) except for shorter stays available between rentals. Holidays are 3 or more days depending on holiday. Re-rents need to match length of cancellation. Please inquiry for availability. 1 pet w $60 fee. The space The Castle House has two bedrooms (with queen-size beds) and two baths. The bedrooms have views of the beach and the ocean and are located at the front and rear of the house. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a large deck and a large covered porch with outdoor furniture. It is a comfortable, well kept and very nicely furnished home. The living room has a turret (as in a castle!) with a circular sofa and embraces the complete view of the beach and ocean from the north end of Stinson-Bolinas to the southern tip. There is parking for two cars. Guest access Overnight guests (5 max) have access to the full house except the house storage room and closets. Day guests are welcome only when they are included in the email agreement and they are limited to 3 or 4 maximum with approval. Inflatable beds, specialty beds or equipment are only allowed for special needs and with written approval by the home owner. Additional costs: A small dog is also welcome with a fee of $60 and a $200 refundable security deposit. Marin County 14% occupancy tax will be added by AirBnB. There will be additional charges for moving interior furniture that was rearranged during the stay ($250 +). The property is not considered vacated until all items brought in are removed by the guest. Other things to note The Castle House is built completely on the beach, consequently we don't have a traditional septic system. Instead, all the water used goes into a holding tank. Once it is full, I'll call the service to come by the property and empty it. As a guest, you'll have to let me know when the alarm goes off letting you know that the tank has reached 90% capacity.
