We are friendly hosts that would love to have you stay in our beautiful home, set back from street with a wrap-around porch, a new swimming pool with a soothing waterfall, and several balconies for reading and relaxing. You will enjoy the Master Bedroom on the main floor of the house, with its own private Master Bathroom and fridge. Read on regarding our busy young family! The space Hello! PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION SO THAT WE CAN MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS :) Very comfortable, nicely decorated "home away from home." Comfortable Queen-size bed and abundant floor space for portable crib, and a futon - you can really stretch out in this beautiful room! Master bedroom and bathroom down the hall from the dining room/kitchen area, so expect the sounds of our family life during the day (kids are active before/after school, 6:30am-7:30pm bedtime). If you require quiet during the day and it's not a school day, remember this is a family home so I recommend choosing a different listing IF you need absolute silence during the day. There is a spacious private bathroom attached to the bedroom with a bathtub. The duvet, sheets & towels are high-quality. There is plentiful storage in the closet, drawers next to the bed, and in the bathroom cabinets; a convenient luggage stand. There is a mini-fridge and we can provide eating utensils if you want to bring snacks or microwaveable meals; we provide instant coffee, tea, and water in the kitchen. We provide free WIFI but we do not have cable TV in our home or a TV in the guest room. We like to put a few children's books, toys, and snacks in the room when you have a child with you. Let us know how we can make you feel right at home! We have traveled a lot and know how much more comfortable a home can be over a hotel! Staying in our home is also a great way to learn about the area and meet some locals! This a great space for singles, couples, or a small family. We are a bilingual family - English/Spanish; Lauren and Lester met while Lauren was in the Peace Corps in Central America! Guest access Free wifi, Family-friendly/Child-Proofed home, Pack 'n' Play (portable crib), Swimming pool!, hair dryer, fan upon request, umbrella upon request, books for downtime, advice about the area & public transportation, maps, complimentary hair & skincare products, closet & some storage space, small refrigerator in your suite if you'd like to heat up or store snacks or take-out, Iron upon request, no TV/cable but many guests stream onto their own devices using the wifi network. During your stay We are happy to give you pointers for the area, and recommend nearby restaurants and shopping. You can hide away in your Master suite, or come hang out with us in the common areas...either way is totally fine! Other things to note As noted elsewhere, we have 3 little kids. They are generally really cute & funny, but they aren't perfect and can get rambunctious during the day. They go to bed early (by 7:30pm) for normally peaceful nights (and we provide earplugs if you desire daytime rest)...and wake up fairly early (around 6:30-7:30 on weekdays and later on the weekends) so our listing may not be a good fit if you're a light sleeper that wants to sleep late. Also, we recently adopted a cat named Felix! We don't let him into the guest room but if you have a strong allergy that would disturb you walking through the hallway, just wanted you to be aware!
