This home is perfect for the person (or family) yearning to get away from the daily grind. The space The home is 150 + years old and has been updated throughout the past two years. The 1st floor consists of a .25 bathroom, family room with a 64" smart tv, a formal dining room for 6 and a kitchen nook for 4. The kitchen is modest with pots/pans, bakeware, dishes, silverware, toaster, blender and a coffee maker. The 2nd floor consists of the master bedroom (king size mattress) and two additional bedrooms (full size mattresses). One bathroom with a walk in shower, 2 sinks and a stackable washer and dryer combo shared in the bathroom. The floor squeaks. The 3rd floor is a bonus room which consists of a 54" smart tv, two twin size beds, and a bathroom (1 walk in shower, sink and toilet). Guest access Car is a must to get in and out of Jonesport (11 mile corridor). The town does not have much going on. There is a small supermarket (Manafords) available within a 1/2 mile from the house for an emergency last minute stop. There is a food truck on the church parking lot (2 blocks away to the left), Jonesport Pizza on Main Street, it is primarily for take out. Sandwiches, french fries and other simple food items available. EVERYTHING CLOSES BETWEEN 7:00 AND 8:00 p.m. There is a cute gift shop (also on Main Street) that opened in May 2021. Flotsom and Jetsom showcase Jonesport artists and cute gifts to take back to friends and family members. Please stop by and support this tiny business. Parking is ample. Other things to note Jonesport is a small town of approximately 1,300 residents. All of the homes have a well and septic system. Please be mindful of this when consuming water. And only throwing toilet paper in the toilet. We recently installed a water filtration system for the entire house and provide bottled water for the guests for the first couple of days.
