The Pool House Too is a gorgeous one bedroom hideaway steps from the beach at Paunch, one of Bocas' most beautiful beaches. The house has a private plunge pool within lush tropical gardens, air-conditioned bedroom, comfortable lounge with TV, fully equipped kitchen, both en-suite bathroom and guest half bathroom, and a covered outside lounge/dining area. There is a washer and dryer, private covered parking and good WiFi. There are 7 restaurants/cafes within walking distance of the house. The space The house is very private and has its own private gardens surrounding the pool, pool patio, and house, plus a private covered car port for parking. The house is accessed by a small gate and three steps leading to the large covered patio with dining and lounge area and the pool and pool patio. The patio has a picnic table with benches for four, comfortable built-in sofas, and two Adirondack chairs next to the pool. This area is perfect for enjoying the gardens and the many different bird species that visit, relaxing on the sofas or in the deck chairs with your morning coffee, or listening to the crickets begin to chirp as the sun goes down. The plunge pool has a seat running around the inside, allowing you to sit and relax in the pool with a cooling drink any time of the day. Sliding glass doors give access to the inside lounge and kitchen area. The lounge has comfortable built-in sofas and a smart TV, great for being cozy inside on a rainy day and enjoying a movie. There's also a table and stools for two for inside dining during bad weather. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas oven and stove, fridge with freezer, toaster, blender, and all the utensils you need to make a full meal if you wish. There is also clean, filtered drinking water on tap. The guest bathroom, bedroom, and master ensuite bathroom lead off of the lounge. The bed is queen size with 100% pure percale cotton linens, thick soft pillows, a deliciously comfortable pillow top mattress pad, and a light cotton blanket for cooler nights. There are efficient wall fans cooling the lounge, bedroom, and ensuite bathroom plus air conditioning in the bedroom for warmer nights. The spacious bathroom has double sinks and a walk-in hot water rain shower. Both bath and hand towels and beach towels are provided plus hand soap, shower gel and shampoo, plentiful toilet paper, and reusable makeup remover pads. The guest half bathroom has a toilet and sink plus the washer and dryer. We provide laundry detergent. The trees on the property and surrounding the house are often visited by Howler and Capuchin monkeys and sloths and larger birds such as Black Hawks, Oropendolas, toucans and parrots as well as an array of colourful smaller birds and lots of butterflies. The house is situated on a private property with three other houses surrounded by jungle and gardens and accessed by a main property gate and is just a short walk down the private driveway to reach the beach and the surf. You can hear the sound of the waves from the house, a beautiful sound to fall asleep to. There are seven good restaurants offering breakfast, lunch and dinner within walking distance of the house, and Bocas town, with many restaurants, supermarkets and other facilities is only a 10 minute taxi ride away. We provide the makings of your first breakfast which are either bagels and eggs or an oat and chia pudding that can be either vegetarian or vegan, and fruit, butter and milk and there are plentiful supplies of coffee, sugar and teas (a selection of black, green and herbal teas for the duration of your stay). We also provide oil, local hot sauce, and a selection of spices and herbs. Our beautiful Pool House One and Sun House sleeping two people in each house are located right next door to The Pool House Too, so if you need more accommodation for your group (up to 8 people), this is the perfect place for you. Guest access The entire private gardens, patios, pool, car port and house are for guest use only. Other things to note There are both dogs and cats on the property, they are all very friendly. The dogs don't have access to the Pool House Too as both The Pool House Too and our house are separately fenced. You may get a visit from one of our cats.
