Are you seeking a unique adventure? Come sleep in a covered sheep wagon under starry skies and enjoy the great outdoors and glamping at its finest within the Sumter National Forest. Our wagon is directly across from a tiny sheep pasture on a small horse farm. Bring your horse and access the nearby Rocky Gap horse trails directly from out property. Or just come enjoy the local rivers, lakes and waterfalls in the area. The wagon is complete with all the amenities you need to be comfortable! The space Our sheep wagon is equipped with cold water sink as well as power for microwave and drip coffee pot, window fan and electric heater inside the wagon. There is a designated sheep wagon portajon toilet within a few feet of the wagon. The toilet is under contract and is emptied and cleaned frequently for your stay! Linens including sheets, pillows and blankets are provided for the comfy queen bed. Utensils, melamine cups and plates as well as a gas grill are also provided for you to have everything you need to prepare your own meals without leaving the property! NEW this spring, a portable on demand water heater for an outside shower! We are in a remote area. Be prepared to disconnect as there is. no wifi available and only Verizon customers get cell service on site. Other carriers can get reception within a few miles of us. Guest access There is a designated outdoor seating area solely for wagons guests that includes a picnic table, hammock, and fire pit with bench. If you're up for socializing, come on down to the common fire pit where all our other guests gather for telling the days tales. A small amount of fire pit wood is generally available but you will want to bring a fire starter log. Other things to note Our sheep and llama re friendly and can be petted and given treats. They like animal cookies! If you would like to participate in feeding time with us, we can arrange that too! Please do not enter the sheep or horse pasture without us though.
