On the River 2 is located in the heart of the historic downtown Kingfield on Main street with river views of the Carrabassett river. Miss Lucy Lu (Lucy) is the cat residents who lives in this special apartment. She is the host and will greet you. She loves people. She is an indoor kitty. There is a restaurant next door, the gallery is downstairs, swimming out the back of the building. Sugarloaf mountain close by. Mountains of possibilities to explore in the western area of Maine. The space This space sleeps 4 people has the Carrabassett river view in all rooms except for the bathroom. It has an electric fireplace on faux (painted) river rocks in the living room. It has a queen sofa sleeper. 40 inch Roku TV. The bedroom has a king-size bed with a writers desk and a sitting area. The closet has extra pillows, sheets, and blankets for the sofa sleeper. If that isn't enough, more blankets are in the dresser between the 2 chairs. The apartment also has a fully equipped kitchen for your cooking needs with oils, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and herbs. The dining table seats 4. There is a leaf to extend the table for extra guests. The bathroom is small, which holds a full-size tub, a small pedestal sink, and a toilet. The closet between the bathroom and the kitchen has plenty of extra towels, shampoo, and toilet paper along with cleaning supplies. Litter box in its housing on the floor in the closet by the bathroom. I have wifi and contact information on the fridge and on the operational manual. Note: If you can't reach me on my cell or I'm on location elsewhere without wifi and cell servics, call my landline, and my husband and kids will gladly help and answer any questions. We also have a resident kitty named Lucy Lu, who loves everyone. No Pets, Lucy wouldn't like your beloved fur baby. Guest access There is parking in the front of the apartment to unload and may stay overnight between April through November. In winter, after unloading, please move vehicle to back of the building by the river. Other things to note Potential for some noise from delivery trucks to Longfellows Restaurant next door, swimmers having fun in the summer and natural white noise from the falls. In the winter, snowmobiles coming to dine at Longfellows.
