You'll be surrounded by the natural beauty of Morongo Valley, and you'll feel like you're a million miles away from the stresses of everyday life. Located conveniently between Joshua Tree and Palm Springs, you can enjoy the best of both desert worlds, and after a day of exploring, retreat back to the secluded Bees Knees Barn to unwind. This charming barn is truly one of a kind, designed and constructed entirely with tongue and groove woodwork, without any nails or screws. The craftsmanship is evident in every corner, making it a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. The house has a spacious master bedroom with its own private on-suite master bathroom, as well as French doors that open to the patio. The main floor of the barn has an additional private bedroom with a Queen bed and door that leads to the second bathroom. The second bathroom can also be accessed from the dining/living area. Upstairs is another closed off queen bedroom, and the fourth bedroom has 2 king beds. With 2 living rooms, 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully-stocked kitchen made for entertaining, a dining room, outdoor dining areas, a hot tub, cowboy tub pool and a children’s playroom, the Bees Knees Barn has something for everyone to enjoy. This magical art space took a lot of love a creativity to bring it to life. We really focused on creating a space unlike anything else in the desert. Please note that the laundry room is locked as it is used for storage. If you require access to do laundry, just shoot us a message! Other things to note Upstairs Bedrooms: Please note that the 3rd and 4th bedrooms upstairs are not fully enclosed. They have railings that are open to the downstairs area. However, there are blackout curtains provided for each area so that sleep and privacy is not an issue! Hot Tub and Cowboy Tub Service: The hot tub and cowboy tub are serviced between every guest for a spotless experience. Cowboy Tub Availability: The cowboy tub is drained and unavailable for guest use during winter months (November - February) to prevent the filter from freezing and breaking. Dogs: We welcome your dogs! Please note that there is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. We do ask that you keep your dog with you and to not leave them alone in the house, and that by agreeing to stay you also agree to be responsible for any major damages your pet may cause (such as destroying a chair after being left in the house alone). There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Cats and other pets are not allowed. The Desert Life: There are things in the desert that are beyond our control, like the existence of wildlife, and sporadic blackouts. We do our best to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible but sometimes things beyond our control happen. We ask for your kind understanding. Guided Yoga, Sound Baths, Meditation, Massages & Personal Chefs: Please reach out to us if you'd like recommendations for yoga instructors, guided sound baths, guided meditation, massages or personal chefs. Often times vendors are available come directly to the house. Trash & Recycling Service: The trash cans are located to the right side of the garage between the barn and garage.
